I was on the fence for quite some time before finally pulling the trigger. This is a classic gentleman's perfume. The combination of dark florals and spices on top with a earthy smoky and slightly boozy base reminds one of a plush hotel lobby. Its elegant without being too dated. The performance is just slightly below average so you really to go trigger happy. Perfect for an evening out in spring/fall.

This basically smells like a better-than-average men's designer release. It's your standard mainstream men's scent: metallic lavender, herbal in a very chemical way, sweet, ammonia-drenched, dark, and synthetically leathery. This is essentially that, but with the herbs ratcheted up a bit, so it hints at an Aramis-style powerhouse underneath the modern synthetics, while mercifully avoiding stereotypical grape topnotes, which is probably the best thing about it. If this were more readily available and considerably less expensive, I could imagine this as a crowdpleaser, though it's far from what I enjoy personally.

I'm not getting the longevity issues others are - on me this is comparable to your average mall EDT. But I'd have a hard time really recommending this, as it does little to distinguish itself from a very large pack of cheaper men's scents.

Should be better. At least this scent registers on the nose-ometer, whereas the 24 Old Bond Street regular hardly did. This has some smokey notes and the tonka note reminds me a bit of tobacco. Moderately acceptable but hardly worth seeking out.

The longevity of this supposedly triple extract version of 24 Old Bond St., which is essentially an eau de cologne, is poor in the colder months. It is just a little better in the summer, but I am not sure I get more than three hours of a very close skin scent from this even in July. On me the melange is dominated by exceedingly fine tea and woody-rose notes. I find it subtle, sophisticated and momentarily intoxicating. Until it disappears. I like it a lot, and have sampled it a number of times, although I have refrained from purchasing it because it is expensive for a seriously under-powered fragrance. Maybe if it were a quadruple extract…….?

The scent is great. It's very fresh and uplifting. It's versatile, but would be better suited for spring/summer. However, even as a more potent version of the original 24 Old Bond Street, the longevity is poor.

This reminds me of mulled wine at Christmas time....I intertwined apple and wine fragrance with a spice kicker in the background. Not exactly fresh but green with a powdery rose quality that recalls the ladies dusting powder of yesteryear. Sort of pleasant u
, but a very dated and female slanting profile. Lasts less than 5 hours on skin. Not a terrible fragrance...not a remarkable either.
