A&F 1892 Green fragrance notes
- Mint, Lemon, Yuzu, Driftwood
Latest Reviews of A&F 1892 Green
"Uncompromising in quality with an athletic masculine edge. Green draws its energy from cool mint and fresh lemon zest, while crisp yuzu and driftwood deliver a distinctly masculine finish."

For some reason this short description sold me on Green and I had my girlfriend pick it up while traveling. Abercrombie is/was one of several designers cashing in on the same concept: a color themed set of colognes aimed at young men.
Green opens with a pleasant, green mint which is quickly joined by candy citrus. Very light, not original, but still enjoyable.
After a few minutes the mint subsides, and we have Lifesaver citrus, perhaps a bit stronger now but still light compared to other fragrances, as well as a fair dose of "airiness", almost like fizzy 7-Up.
The fizzy notes slowly replace the citrus, which becomes muted, as the fragrance begins to fade to a skin scent.
My nose starts to get confused as the dull wood notes start to interact with the fizziness- if I think "sweet" then I still get some of that 7-Up alongside a barely present generic wood, but if I think "salt" I get an artificial driftwood. Either way the wood isn't well done and afterwards Green fades even further into something barely detectable for the next couple hours.
Update: I've been wearing Green frequently, and have grown to really enjoy the fizzy citrus notes. I'm bumping it up half a star just because I've found it to be more wearable than I originally thought. Great for summer, easy to enjoy notes.
I've also recently ordered the Yellow and Cobalt bottles after my growing appreciation for Green, look for my reviews in the next few weeks!
Update Update: I tried out Yellow and Cobalt, sold them within weeks of getting them in. I've also become pretty blah towards Green since I've been wearing Dior Cologne Royale which does the Citrus/Mint notes magnitudes better.
I think that this will be my go-to "I want to smell better than sweat but don't want to waste the good stuff" cologne this summer. Changed from a Thumbs Up to a Neutral.
