If you are open to the conventional form of arabian oil-perfumes, open to a distinctive different style of composition of perfumes and open to defenitly new notes then this can be a good one to start.
The aoud-note is quite gentle in this perfume, the rose and saffron are BEAUTIFUL, the bottle and packaging are superb and the longvity of this fragrance is amazing!
The scent itself starts off with aoud, which fastly goes to the background stage - but always gently there.
The rose mixes in, would assume something like taiffa, and saffron gives a little spicy vibe and when the last stage with more woods (sandalwood and rosewood maybe?) and the single most musk I like enter, with still the rose and saffron clearly detectable and the aoud-note making it "oriental" - I am hooked.
This little piece is sadly a task to hunt down, though it is quite reasonable priced. The 10ml will last quite a while - the little dapper with the few drops on it make the use quite easy and economic.
Apply with light hand since these oils are really strong in strength!
