Fruity Cool Water. Sub par longevity.

A loud, spicy, semi-oceanic scent that reminds me of an Herbal Essences advert. The feeling is hot, fruity and wet, and the freesia is so upfront it lends a shampoo feeling to the first half of its lifespan. I was self-conscious about this aspect of Azul until about the fifth compliment. The universe works in strange ways, and this stuff garners good results.

SirSlarty's review is right on the money. A Cool Water clone/fresh fougère that actually smells good. If you've ever smelled Old Spice Glacial Falls shower gel/deodorant or the Swagger shower gel/deodorant, this is essentially similar to those scents, but a long-lasting EDT. Yes, this does last long for a scent of this type. Just be aware, I think there's a tiny dollop of cumin in this - too much and it can smell like sweaty balls for the first few minutes or so. Otherwise, a damn good bang for the buck!

Pretty much a Cool Water clone. Azul is more fruity though. The longevity and silliage in my opinion, are about the same as Cool Water, possibly weaker. I don't recommend it because people will just assume you're wearing Cool Water most likely. The bottle is simple, but nice looking. The packaging is really what draws people in... Check out that box photo... The whole box is surrounded in a panoramic shot of the clear, blue sea and a beautiful sky. The scent matches it, but like I said, its VERY Cool Water smelling.

Animale Azul is a generic fresh acent indicated for daily use. Longevity is good, but sillage is limited. Comparing to the traditional 'Animale for men' perfume, Azul isn´t so sharp and brighter, its softer and has a plain smell that doesn't change along the time. I have both the Animale perfumes and prefer the traditional one. Something bothers me about Azul: its too synthetic, I prefer more natural accents. Since its price is good, it's worth try.

Whoa! A Cool Water type clone that's actually amazing? Azul is certainly a really strong, bright and aromatic fougere. It still smells wonderful after 4 hours. I think it gets better as it dries down. The start is very heavy and a tad messy but it develops into a sweeter, more citrusy version of Cool Water minus the slight metallic smell. Gets a little woody towards the end but overall, a good alternative to Cool Water if you desire something a little stronger and heavier for the same price.
