Cannot possibly be anymore Japanese.
The overall effect is supported 'bamboo' with a hint if vanillaic sweetness, but that is looking hard to find a description.

It is the scent of a clean empty bento box.

A decade and a half ago, it must have been a wow. In today's world of aromachem bombs, it is lost. Perhaps that is its strength...

Fresh and inoffensive. Shallow and uninteresting.

Not woody, not flowery, not fruity but...well it's tonka beans with moss. Those who are familiar with the scent of these ingredients will understand. Some vanilla echo seems to come out there somewhere far in the backgound. It seems like there're almost no depth, everything is based on the sharpness and "certainty" of tonka and moss.Must agree on the fact that it's "japanese to the very marrow of it's bones" (not a single frenchman would ever dare to make something like that)although undesputably masculine.Smells nice in a cold weather(been wearing it mostly in winter time). You really must be sure about if it suits you, because it will not do so very easily.by the way,i'm really surprised that this is the only one from Annayake for men listed here. There are also Tomo and Undo which differ from this one like "night differs from day".

A nice male fragrance, rather tender as the two reviews before this one noted. It somehow reminds me of Paco Rabanne XS, but pour lui is not half as in-your-face-fresh as XS, so the comparison is not really adequate. This scent comes on with nice tea notes that imo definitely make this worth sampling. The only downside is that it is available only in 100ml bottles.

ice floral fragrance. Japanese to the very marrow of it's bones. Tender and strange. Character in general reminds me of Creed's SMW. It has a light coffee and maybe tea notes in the heart and a light woody base. Some people find it very soapy (light tones) but it's just skin chemistry tricks I think. There is one more thing about it. I'd tell it's a bit flabby of feminine but no one noticed. Among my Can't Go Wrong summer casuals. Lasts a long time.

Zen-like, transparent and tender. Cool, calm and romantic, but at the same time I can't imagine a woman wearing this, it smells absolutely masculine. Try this, it's an interesting one.
