Having never experienced Black Afghano, I have no comparison to tell of.

On my skin, I get no hint of Cannabis.

The Oud is very faint, and blends in so well with the resins & incense that it's nearly undetectable. If it is there, it reads as 'woody'. No 'barnyard' hint at all.

If the tobacco is there, it is also blended in with the resins & incense because it is a wallflower for sure.

The resins are not heavy or 'sticky'.

The incense has no 'cathedral' feel at all, and is perfectly blended into the resins.

This may seem a bit linear, in that the transitions are not separate or distinct - to me. But there is enough play between the resins & incense to keep this from getting dull, and it does not feel like a 'blob' of fragrance falling on me.

I would give this a 9.5/10, if only it wasn't so close to my beloved Lalique Encre Noir Sport... I should give this a neutral for that point alone, but the lack of a vetiver punch eases my anguish.

Solid 9.0/10 for me

Dirty and smoky and dry, with a heart of coconutty sandalwood smoothing out the rough edges.

I like it better on paper than skin. On skin, it feels a bit thin.

Really good clone of Black Afghano. Strong, dark, dirty and seductive.

I don't love Black Afghano but this is very close.

Thumbs up for getting this clone so close to the original.

Big projection with minimal sprays.
