Latest Reviews of Anucci Man
I am one that thinks that when florals for men are done right, they're done very, very right... Anucci for men is no exception. When raspy, earthy, animalics, or pine-centrics were on their way out, and freshies were on their way in, there was this oddball (pun both intended and not intended) that was different for the time, but still made evident the reputation that the 80s enjoys that it is the decade is excess.
Let's first talk about the branding, packaging theme and bottle. Emerald green box with gold lettering and picture of golfer... golf ball-shaped bottle and gold sprayer feels very luxurious for what it costs.... even the cap is glass. Anucci? That sounds Italian, but is it from Italy? The current website mentions it's made in the USA, but nothing about the origin. Who cares? It's good.
I sense some fruit and booze in the opening with some airyness. Once gone, the white florals and woody qualities make their entrance. Yes, the overall scent bears a resemblance to Brut, but to me it does feel more refined, and there are aspects of it that give me Avon Skin-So-Soft vibes. As the fragrance further sits on the skin, the oakmoss gets pronounced and the fragrance starts to remind me of sunscreen/lotion. I personally like this as it makes the fragrance smell uplifting and perfect for spring and summer days out and about. Longevity and sillage are both fantastic, so a little goes a long way.
I wouldn't say Anucci is a *feminine* fragrance, but somewhere between a unisex and a soft masculine. This is a fragrance for a shampooed, polished, and groomed guy as opposed to the type guy that might wear Stetson. Like I could imagine a late 90s-early 2000s Jenses Ackles smelling like this.
If you like fragrances like Fleur du Male, you just might love Anucci. The good news is, it appears to still be readily available.

While there has been a groundswell of bygone fragrance resurgence, many are overlooked, often unfairly so. Perhaps they may look "cheap," seem too novelty or peculiar to be worth visiting, or in this case, "bros" may scoff at the idea of a fragrance with prominent jasmine and chamomile notes as they are worshipping at the altar of Evernia Prunastri.
Not to fear, comrades, if you can embrace Lauder for Men (made in the UK, naturally), and you absolutely must obtain the short ingredients list versions of hallowed classics until they become Unobtainium, why not choose a diversion? Also, stop hoarding back up bottles that sit unenjoyed by others who share your passion. The old maxim goes: "you can't take it with you." So, do yourself and others a favor and get yourself one, JUST ONE bottle of Anucci Men and thank me later–also, please save the Youtube review for me. If you must refer to this unsung little beauty at your hype machine podium, just tell them that I tipped you to it. For once.
Anyhow, Anucci Men is a splendid men's floral; a melange of fresh cut grass, jasmine and flowers, musky, soapy, creamy, and yes (oak)mossy. Dig it.

I love Anucci for Men. I notice, however, that it smells almost identical to Boucheron for women. Nevertheless, I enjoy wearing this long-lasting fragrance, especially when I'm watching "The Greatest Game Ever Played" starring Shia LaBeouf. Reminds me of being at the country club with all the other snooty snobs, lol! Overall, I give it a 5 because I love it!
Jasmine. A little soapy, a little chalky, with no indoles in sight. Not a bad scent but too fem for me. Befuddled by the golf association -- Que?
Edit 1 to add: A little pixie stix kind of tart in the drydown, close to the skin. I'd like this on a lady. Teetering towards the positive.

Funky bottle and nice sprayer. However, this unique white floral is unfortunately ruined by an overpowering sweet syrupy amaretto note.
A gorgeous floral and fresh frag. Very unusual. Staying power and sillage excellent. This is top notch juice.
