Another "presenceful" Mancera's creation of whom the synthetic woody muskiness smells kind of oppressing sometimes to me along the way. Aoud Lemon Mint is not properly a summer fragrance under my profane nose despite you can comfortably wear it even in warm climates if triggering the spray dispenser cap with a tad of caution and moderation. Actually the synthetic stable oudish vibe (kind of vaguely gassy-woody and chemical), the almondy widespread soft creaminess (never "over the boundaries" anyway) and the resinous-suedish spark tend to keep indeed out of mine and distant the dreamy image of tropical beaches, outdoor excursions and sunset cocktails. This is mostly an urban "night time out" or clubbing middle season fragrance according with my personal taste and perception. It could easily be worn as office-fragrance as well (due to its vibrant character and the final bold woodsy-suedish assertive spicy restraint) imo. After a first "quite synthetic in perception" spray (as usual for all the Mancera), over a fleeting fresh invigoraring first blast (citric, particularly lemony, slightly tangerinic and vaguely minty-aromatic with hints of minty coriander and further aromatics) I start by soon perceiving the aoud's deep presence, some almondy creaminess a la Joop Nightflifht (a fragrance jumping more than vaguely on mind throughout with a tad of nostalgia) and hints of something finally sharper, more restrained, woody-musky (due to earthy patchouli and vetiver), vaguely honeyed and leather-conjuring (kind of suedish and "of powerhouse memory"). Going ahead along the way the juice remains still aromatic, woody and lightly almondy, with a masculine intimate restrained vibe (very sensual) quite close to skin and woody-leathery. Hints of leather in the formula I'd say definitely. Another juice jumping "conceptually" on mind along the dry down is the virile and enigmatic (but fruitier) Micallef Desir Toxic which shares with Aoud Lemon Mint a similar kind of fresh-warm restrained final woody-suedish boldness. I get throughout some leather, hints of lemon, some spiciness and definitely the almondy presence (while vanilla being well balanced and calibrated without excesses). This is a masculine fragrance with a final kinda old-school in style warm nutty-suedish (and vaguely fruity/spicy) restraint a la Boss Elements, Ungaro III, several musky blue fragrances a la Versace Dylan blue or stuffs like that. Longevity and projection are highly performing as usual for a Mancera's piece of fragrance.

Update: I now much prefer Mancera's Lemon Line over this fragrance. The drydown of ALM is overwhelmed by a chemical oud note, while Lemon Line is more natural and uplifting.

The opening is quite harsh and powerful, to the point that it hurts my nose. It smells like lemon cleaner, unlike Club de Nuit Intense Man, which has a different lemon scent. The fragrance is incredibly screechy and synthetic when smelled up close, but it smells better in the air.

It is ideal for any season except for the summer, as it is too piercing and loud for the summer heat. In summary, this fragrance is dominated by lemon and citrus notes, with oud being just a minor note. The oud is tightly woven into the citrus and almond notes, and I wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't mentioned in the name of the fragrance.

The fragrance becomes more tolerable in the second and third hour. I almost wish the first hour could be skipped, as it's so strong and overwhelming. If you're looking for a long-lasting lemon scent and don't mind if it's not realistic, this fragrance might be perfect for you.

This is feminine as a perfume can get. It's not unisex. Period.

It's a straight up flower bomb, rose, and some oud, CLOYING as candy.

Smells like my first grilfriend - instant memory - took me back to 2003. Tried to wash it off, but it's extremely persistant.

Nothning a guy would want to wear definitely.

I've been on the prowl for a nice lemon-forward fragrance for a while, and sadly, this was another letdown. The opening gave me high hopes: a natural-smelling ripe lemon, slightly sweet, with a hint of almond and orange/mandarin in the background. Presently, this lovely, natural-smelling opening gave way to a chemical nightmare that smells something like a mixture of Lysol, Lemon Pledge, and a powdery, leathery amber. Longevity is excellent, because after about a dozen hand-washings, it still remains on the back of my hand.

If only it had been more linear and stayed with that delicious opening! Unfortunately, I'm left now smelling like I've just cleaned house with the strongest chemicals I could find. This is not Mancera's best.

As far as Mancera goes this is average in performance, good but not as good as lots of the other Mancera scents.

Fresh lemon with light Oud hiding behind Jasmine and a lighter note of Patchouli.
Despite the name this has a darkness to it, making this good choice for evenings and cold weather and ok for warmer.
I like this but try before buying, not for everyone.

Oriental oud scent that is very strong to my nose. Has a "perfumy" smell to me. If you give it 30 minutes it does settle into a decent juice. There is no mint actually listed but it has a minty vibe I suppose. There is lemon, oud and a lot of jasmine. That's mostly what I get for well over 60 minutes. Leans feminine at the start but does dry into a nice unisex fragrance. Gonna have to give this a few wearings before I decide if I like this. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY...

After wearing this for another full day I feel this is a quality product that is a very high quality nice juice. A thumbs up but a try before you buy fragrance. Enjoy!
