The company says:
It opens with a zesty burst of lemon and mint notes twisted with a bittersweet accent of absinthe. The freshness builds into an elegant heart of powdery orris, green violet leaf and crisp apple notes that evoke the greenness of the English countryside. Finally, an earthy blend of cedarwood and patchouli is fused with warm ambery tones, conjuring up images of rich woodlands and forest-covered hills.

Saw this one day while casually browsing on eBay. Saw Green in the name and knew I had to get it especially at its low price. I think I paid about 20 bucks for it.

Looked up the notes on “the other site“, and was even more intrigued. Not only did it look like a green fragrance, but it looked like a more playful green fragrance as opposed to the more mossy and dark type. Which don’t get me wrong. I do enjoy those as well like Polo-esque.. but what I really love is the more citrusy, more lighter, green style, often using mint, eucalyptus, wormwood, or different variance of spruce and pine - stuff like that. Both style remind me of nature, whether after a rainy day, or just walk through the forest. But anyways, let me talk about this one..

So the opening is pretty light, and definitely, aromatic, fortunately I’m not getting any alcohol on the first spray which tells me maybe this really is an EDP. It’s pretty boring though. It’s kind of just smells like a typical David Beckham Fragrance. it starts to morph, and in my opinion, it goes in a purple route when thinking about colors with fragrances, it’s not green at all, and it actually makes me cough a little bit, which is strange because I usually don’t cough from fragrances. no more than two minutes in I get a strong presence of geranium or what they are calling mint. But it smells more like geranium to me as it is more floral. And I kind of just sits like that and gets lighter before about an hour and I start to pick up on some sandalwood. They have it listed as cedar but again it’s more creamy or I think cedar tends to be more peppery. So that’s why I’m saying sandalwood. It’s very basic, tame, light, even transparent. It’s not something I would typically go for, but it’s also comforting in a way, and it has sort of an air quality about it. I think this is probably some thing that you can layer, if that’s your thing, although I don’t know what you would be able to layer with this possibly maybe some iso e, under it. Again due to how light this is I don’t really see it being able to layer with much more than a single note Fragrance.

Personally I like this I think it was worth the 23 bucks. I love the bottle design, and I think what they were going for was for people to buy the whole set and kind of line them up together because they do look good. I don’t think this is a real EDP, the performance is pretty bad and although, in my opinion, EDP‘s do sit closer to the skin and project less, but they are usually a lot more dense and thick in feeling, and this one is a lot more watery, thus being.. the consistency of an EDC. This is like lighter than set sail st barts, not that those two or any similar and smell, but in feel and in weight. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody unless you just want a light fresh scent. Would probably be very good for somebody who wants something for themselves and wants to be discreet in a work environment but just wants that little bit of extra clean, and fresh smelling vibe. You know sort of like you just got out of the shower. Basically, I think this is a Fragrance for people who don’t really like fragrances.

I used my microphone on my phone to dictate this review. I know there are probably gonna be some typos, please disregard that, I will eventually edit this once I have more time.
