Basile Uomo (new)

Haven't tried the vintage version yet, but I proudly own this new formulation. For me, Basile is a nice green old school fougere, rich in herbs as basil that permeates all the composition and keep it fresh and formal, never cloying.
Although not as strong as most of the 80s fragrances, Basile can be considered a bit harsh for the ones used to contemporary light-citrusy scents.

could be great but has no great sillage, duration is quite poor..doesn't cost at least

Perhaps in this version are slightly toned down herbs and citrus but the new Basile Uomo smells almost identical to the original one. Great bottle.
