Definitely the refined high quality one expects from Chanel, but it is similar to many other modern scents. An expensive “me too” product.

This scent is fine, but the longevity makes this an instant no-no for me. The projection and sillage aren't much to talk about either. Your money is better spent on almost anything else.

A quality "standard" scent for the "30 something" year old. It's not-offensive. Relatively mature but not 'old'. Decidedly masculine. Works for all seasons. This one was clearly made to be a no-brainer gift scent and can work as a daily driver dumb reach.

An otherwise beautiful blue fragrance absolutely destroyed by the stinky incense/ashtray note in the drydown. Peee-eww! They spilled AdG Profumo into this by accident!

Perfume as pleasant as it is anonymous. Citrus opening and continuation of iso-e super and musks that give depth to the fragrance allowing it to have a minimum of stability on the skin; Ultimately, however, it is not a complex perfume, nothing to do with Chanel's historical men's fragrances. The end result is however a very pleasant smell of fresh, invigorating and very masculine bubble bath but, I repeat, rather anonymous and not at all original. Let's face it... we're talking about Polge - Chanel - and it is therefore legitimate to expect something more from the creator of Antaues, Egoiste, Allure, etc. (just to stay in the male sphere). Evidently in this round the Parisian maison wanted to play it safe (very sure), with a product that can't help but like and that makes its strong point of being truly mass-pleasing. Would I buy it? boh, I would say no unless I find it at a "gift" price... Did he feel the need? I would say no... Would I recommend it to anyone? maybe yes, for a young man in his 20s, as an easy and pleasant first perfume, but I don't see it suitable for a mature man, I feel it too much for a boy and the maison offers much more for a man of 30 ...

After three valiant efforts at sampling, I just can’t do it. 3 sprays, 2 sprays, and finally 1 spray to my inner elbow all resulted in a headache.

I’m convinced it’s the “laundry musk” accord, which interestingly doesn’t bother me at all when I wear Drakkar Noir, so it must be the overall composition.

Bleu de Chanel, adieu.
