Sweet lemon and jasmine over a dirty vetiver. A bad boy Eau de Rochas. Certainly a warm or hot weather scent due to its otherwise natural closeness. An admirable pre-aquatic.

Clean, a bit synthetic, but lovely. Good longevity and sillage. A great one from Bogner

This is a high quality but obscure fragrance that is generally difficult to find but well worth hunting down. I’ve had three bottles over the last 15 years (one of the original formula in the grey bottle and two of the later formula in the blue bottle) and didn’t notice any significant change in its smell or strength. I haven’t smelt the current (3rd) formula yet so can’t comment on it. Nonetheless, the first two formulas are utterly masculine and smell totally unique, and combined with their rarity make for an excellent signature fragrance. Warm, flowery, zesty and assertive, they remind me a little of Grey Flannel. The industrial strength and sillage of the first two formulas are unimpeachable. I used to wear it as an office fragrance but I believe it’s versatile enough to use on any occasion. Highly underrated (probably because of its scarcity), Bogner Man is one of those well blended and complex teutonic fragrances that include Joop Jump, Joop Homme, Jil Sander Feeling Man, and Etienne Aigner Private Number for Men. Highly recommended.

I bought this at the Frankfurt airport about ten years ago. I can't find it anywhere now, and many people have never heard of it. It is a lovely, clean and fresh fragrance, very long lasting and potent in a good way. Worth seeking out.
