Bordello smells of purple creativity to me. Every time I smell it, I think of the floral department of a craft store. The plum and the amaretto are the strongest part of the scent in my opinion. It's nice but a little artificial.

I haven't had chocolate covered cherries since high school in the ‘60s – those boxes that cost about 50 cents back then. They were gooey and super sweet and smelled kind of artificial. I thought of those cherries when I smelled Bordello. This one is over the top with that artificial gooey cherry scent. On top of that, there is that almost-hidden-background scent that smells to me like three-day-old sweaty gym socks. I think I like the gym socks smell better than the ultra chocolate cherries jubilee smell… Errmm… Dirty gym socks lying around I can sort of fit into the picture, but what do artificial, gooey chocolate covered cherries have to do with a bordello?

An intriguing fragrance. In the bottle, it's very fruity-plum and cherry and berry-and not much else. On, it becomes something more complex, even before it's completely dry. The amaretto adds a depth and warmth. It's fruity but warm, a bit exuberant and larger-than-life, with just a touch of wine.
