Bosc fragrance notes
- oakmoss, juniper, rosemary, mastic, pine, sweet orange
Latest Reviews of Bosc
As Omicron allows my senses of smell back, it starts to make sense to review once more. This is a pleasant, outdoor-style scent, with emphasis on coniferous leaves and resins. It puts me in mind both of Bottega Veneta PH, and of the love-hate relationship I used to have with fresh pine resin smells from new sheds encountered at garden centres. Bosc never loses its freshness once it reaches the drydown, and there's a good though light leather accord to finish, so overall I'm happy. As ever when reviewing from samples, I would appreciate the chance of a spray from a full-sized atomiser, which I suspect would yield better results.
A beautiful coniferous fragrance with wonderful notes of pine, juniper and rosemary. Mastic also brings it's bright, slightly bitter greeness, but it's blended the sweet orange wonderfully! The overall scent profile is of a walk through a coniferous forest with all the wafts of notes that come with that environment. Just excellent in my book! The only short coming is that it doesn't last long enough, but as a natural fragrance that's to be expected. Two thumbs way up for Bosc! I love it!
