Chapeau to this wonderful masculine fresh rosey concoction with a musky and ambery soul. This frangrance is centered over an "aqueous" cedarwood/vetiver-centered rosey accord and probably will be full of appeal for all those lovers of the sharp/shadowy cedary vetivers a la Encre Noir Lalique. The prominent notes are Lily-of-the-Valley, Bergamot and Cassis under my nose (the flora-aqueous fragrance's soul). I agree with SirSlarty as he writes the juice manages to be fresh and clean without being an aquatic or a synthetic fruity stuff. First of all the fragrance smells natural, dry-spicy, fresh, "wide", virile, floral and multifaceted. Lot of kind of dusty-peppery-lemony cardamom (joined to rosemary and cedarwood) a la Clive Christian X for Men (ideally combined with CK One) under my raving nose. The cool smell is surprisingly velvety despite an astringent chord of bergamot, cedarwood and vetiver. The combination of florals, amber, other smoothing elements and musk renders the smell out finally silky, breezing, just a touch spicy-angular and averagely soft. Distinguished, fresh, natural office's fragrance.

An engaging fresh fragrance with just a hint of fuzzy woodsy notes. Feels like a more elegant clean style rather than aquatic, fruity or synthetic junk. Really wonderful for an office scent.

On initial acquaintance, you might think him a pleasant enough youth. But linger with him awhile and you will discover him to be nothing more than the wooden-hatted cousin of the wooden-headed Azzaro Visit - boring, blatant, relentless, the pair of them. Nice name, though: Borsalini Chapeau.
