1929 : Formed

1964 : Charles of the Ritz merge with Lanvin to form Lanvin-Charles of the Ritz.

1971 : Lanvin-Charles of the Ritz is sold to Squibb.

1978 : Squibb sell off Lanvin and the company is renamed Charles of the Ritz Group, Ltd.

1987 : Charles of the Ritz Group is acquired by Yves Saint Laurent to gain control of the YSL fragrance licence. The remaining brands of Ritz are sold to Revlon.

2004 : Revlon discontinued Charles of the Ritz
