If Chrome Extreme is a great clone of AdG Profondo, or at least on paper as I haven't had a chance to spray it on my skin. I went right in with Chrome EdP and found it stunning. The citrus and mandarin leaf on the top is beautiful, the lavender is smooth and not heavy or cloying, and the pine feels so fresh.

If the bottle design that looks like Profondo Lights is any hint, this is a clone for that fragrance (which I haven't smelled) or a refinement on their efforts at cloning Profondo. Profondo dries down to an absolute cloying mess that I can't stand.

This is a glimpse at what Profondo should have been, longevity aside.

NB: If all blues are 75% the same DNA, then the 25% uniqueness in this comes from the mandarin leaf and pine which makes it so special without being weird. I don't know if I have place for this in my collection since I have 200mL of Sauvage EDT and I don't buy fragrances that aren't beastmode, but this has lasted on a card for a whole weekend somehow.
