This was my first signature fragrance as a teenager back in the 1980's and I still miss it.... In fact, it was hunting for this or something similar that led to my discovery of basenotes!

This was my first perfume, in the early 1990s. I adored it - it was dense and lasting and warm but not pretty (though not aggressive either). My boyfriend at the time told me that he loved how I smelled, unlike anyone else or anything he could identify. For him, this perfume was just me.

I am now heading into middle age and I am still drawn to dense chypre perfumes. But I would so love to try this one again. My last bit of it ran out in the late 1990s and I have never found it again. If anyone has any leads or any they want to get rid of, I would be very grateful.

l had a bottle of this in the late eighties, & it was a favourite; l would love to smell this again. lt had all of the qualities you'd expect from a chypre, concentrated into a rich, bittersweet, pungent perfume oil with fabulous sillage. lt always drew compliments. l guess this sort of thing isn't fashionable anymore, what a shame.
