Chypre du Nord is a top quality vintage-inspired chypre of the highest order. Oakmoss paired with peach lactone, rose, and deer musk is exquisite. Similar, or better than Roja Diaghilev and likely using better quality ingredients -- at a fraction of the price -- though still pricey. There is a mildly smoky leather/birch tar, but it is not that noticeable. I view this as a historical remake of Guerlain Mitsouko as it existed in the 1920s though perfectly unisex.

I would buy a bottle if they weren't so expensive.

A wonderful fall scent ... spicy peach and oakmoss chypre. I upgraded to this from the brand's Moss Cologne and couldn't be happier.
