Latest Reviews of Circus Fantasy
This one opens with a limitedly typical raspberry note with an overarching synthetic-fruity impression. The subsequent generic floral notes produce an attempt of peony that is not overly impressive either. The base - well if I ever sought out a representative of a generic-dull-sweet base note complex, this is it. I get moderate sillage, good projection and three hours of longevity.
Overall: negative. 1/5. This is it.

Well, what can I say, I'm a diehard Britney fan, however when it comes to her fragrances I've always tested them without a biased opinion.
Circus Fantasy is great. I was quite disappointed by Hidden Fantasy, yet this fragrance has made up for it.
Seeming that we're now going into Summer, this is the perfect season to start wearing Circus Fantasy. The scent is quite refreshing and clean, but still has that signature sweetness that all of Britney's fragrances possess.
Circus Fantasy opens with soft raspberry and apricot, which resembles more the scent of fruit flavoured icecream rather than the actual fruit. Eventually the vanilla appears making me love this fragrance even more. When all blended together, the notes smell rather sweet and dessert-like, a little like the original Fantasy but certainly not as strong. The overall scent is rather musky but beautiful.
I rather like that this fragrance is soft and that it stays close to the skin. It is a nice change from Britney's previous scents. The lasting strength was quite good I found, it's lasting well over five hours on my skin. I'm almost certain I'll be adding this fragrance on to my Christmas wishlist.

And now to answer the age old question which has been plaguing mankind since the beginning of time..what does a circus fantasy smell like? The answer is- lemony raspberry iced tea! Very enjoyable and definitely none too serious, Circus Fantasy is actually interesting. As it develops candied peony and violets join the party which is surprisingly not too loud or rowdy. I'm liking these Britney frags, they're like a modern day Showgirls, underappreciated in their time!
I sprayed some on a scent strip and some accidentally got on my hand. I did not like it at all, it is the epitome of cheap perfume. The top notes smelled like Off bug spray, the dry down smelled like Off bug spray on a very old lady. The floral notes were harsh and quickly lost in an insipid vanilla musk base. I had to drive a while before I could scrub it off my hand, and I had the windows open for sure. Different strokes for different folks, but this is not to my liking at all.
Fantasy Circus for me is like a light midnight fantasy version, with the difference that Circus works Rasperry instead of Plum, and this makes Circus more lighter, for casual wear. Is better than Hidden Fantasy and less overwhelming than the first Fantasy. You can use Circus for evening and Midnight for the night!!
A slightly guilty buy. But it kinda felt right. I was having another one of my tired-of-niche days and was wandering through over heated department stores, dodging the nuclear-tinted sales girls & boys that seem to have 7 second memories and return to worry you oh so quickly. This is neon bright fragrance, Las Vegas night time, lashings of bruised summer fruit and creamy lactonic floral heavy breathing wrapped around a pole dancing heart. Each of the Britney scents has been heading toward this plush, eye-popping exercise in garish joyful bouncy castle perfumery. Don't be a snob, try something a little trailer trash, you never know.....
