A nice composition but as somebody on another site mentioned, the blending is a little off. It starts off citrusy but has a heavy base of musk and marine notes. The top notes wear off fairly quickly with the drydown being mostly synthetic middle notes. This takes a good five hours. Finally you are left with the great base at the end. Just by chance I decided to splash on Imperiale after Cold had dried down, since the notes in Imperiale are complementary to the base in Cold. AMAZING. The light citrus of Imperiale revived and blended sooo well with the base left from Cold. Fantastic. Would also work with Extra Vieille and 4711 I am sure. It is too bad one has to wait 4-5 hours for the best part, but for the price it is a great Summer scent for both day and night. Rather a good transition from day into night. You could wear this for an afternoon party that goes on into the evening, and in would evolve well.

This is pleasing, light, and won't offend anybody. The dominant notes upon applying are bergamot, white musk, thyme, orange, and a well-done vanilla. It seems that the red pepper, neroli, and coriander are used beneath the dominant notes and serve to boost the sweetness and remove any sharpness of the notes, making the shape of the scent softer and more rounded. If I had not seen the list of notes, I would have guessed that white tea was used in this fragrance for the way it lightens and sweetens scents, but the spicy elements in Cold surprisingly and gracefully are kept below the citrus and herbs.
It is true that is has some resemblance to CK One but the difference lies in the blending; Cold uses less citrus and is much softer on the nose and the skin. It is also true that there is a resemblance to British Sterling Silver, with the difference lying in Cold's use of a white musk and fresher overall tones compared with Sterling Silver's manly musk and stronger spices.

The longevity is good, lasting most of the day for me, but it does not project strongly. I can smell it on myself and only people that get VERY close will pick up on it. This probably won't become a signature scent for anyone, but it seems to be a nicer and lighter brother to CK One.

UPDATE: After wearing this for several months, I have discovered that the base and drydown phase of COLD is very similar to Lagerfeld. I'm now imagining that it could be considered a Lagerfeld Summer version.

Not a lot going on here, but it's pleasant enough. It seems to be intended more as a refreshing splash along the lines of CKOne than as a real fragrance statement. The top notes of citrus and lavender (not listed on the pyramid here, but it's unmistakably present) fade quickly into a subtly sweet musky base --- I did not notice the listed middle notes at all. I did notice a resemblance to British Sterling Silver, which is likewise a pleasant enough but unobtrusive scent that doesn't last long enough or project enough of anything to offend anyone. Benetton's Cold is even more dilute and weak, which is why it only gets a neutral rating.

Thumbs up for the bottle design, though!

Like it, but it´s too strong. Just with one spray you´re ready to go all day. Great for the price, refreshing but a little bit average.
