Collection Grands Crus : Maasaï Mara
Berdoues (2017)

The notes had me hoping for an interesting mix of leafy greens and coffee, but this is actually just another Hermés Ambre Narguile clone - fruity, ashy, honeyed pipe tobacco. Like all of these, it smells good, and Maasaï Mara seems to have a bit more citrus than others in this genre, which gives it a puckery grapefruit vibe in the background that I like. These have become such a niche cliché that I'm going to start voting thumbs-down on all of them on principle soon, but I can't help myself - I enjoy these, so yet another (albeit unenthusiastic) thumbs-up.
