Abercrombie & Fitch (2007)

This is very nice and easy to wear. A fresh scent that features high doses of white musk, some cucumber-melon accords and a touch of sweet modern amber in the base. Non-complicated, likeable and great smelling scent all around. Fit for all seasons, although only casual scenarios. Would be completely out of place for a formal event.

A&F got it completely wrong for discontinuing Cologne 41.

Cologne 41 is GREAT! its not exactly daring, but it is perfect in the mix of Clean and Rugged. Girls will go crazy for this! i have a pretty good collection and i believe this is currently my favorite cologne.

sky high markup and a so so unoriginal and forgettable scent thumbs down

Not a bad attempt at a rip off of Bulgari PH. However, I just can't justify buying this at $70.00.

I'm going back over my old reviews from when I was new to "the game" and adjusting them.

Cologne 41 was a very different scent for Abercrombie. 41 is linear and extremely inoffensive, composed mainly of Cucumber and Water notes which may remind some of laundry detergent. Maybe a small dose of Melon as well, just to complete the Fresh Aquatic stereotype.

All said, 41 provides this in a way that was different than a lot of the Fresh Aquatics at the time.

Longevity and strength are both pretty minimal with two sprays on either wrist, gone within an hour. Requires several sprays to maintain a presence.

If you can find it on eBay for cheap it might be worth it to you, though the bottle is guaranteed to be older at this point.

As if the Abercrombie guys walked across to Aeropastel and smelled Maximum. It's basically an exact copy, and is 30$ more... Good scent, but is it really worth it? Probably not.
