Cool Water Grapefruit & Sage

Musk, nothing but musky muskiness.
That's all I get on my skin, that's it.
Semi-sweet musk and sod all else.
Grapefruit?...Nope
Sage?...Nope
Musk?...oh yeah.

Is it pleasant?....Yes
Is it bland and generic?...Yep
Is it worth having?....No

Got a 10ml decant of this on a whim. Starts out with a delicious citrus/blue opening. This fades within 30 minutes, leaving, surprisingly, something that smells like a cross between a less-intense version of Azzaro Pour Homme, complete with anise note, and a fresh linen oceanic. That only projects for another 30 minutes, then becomes a skin scent for another 3 -4 hours. Not a great performer, but I just resprayed and enjoyed the progression again, then a third time I suspect my 10ml decant will get used 2-3 times per year for several years, and that works for me. A nice little fragrance, you can't help but liking it, especially for the price

If you are looking for grapefruit or sage-dominant scents, then this is not going to suffice. However, if you like clean, powdery-fresh, modern scents for men, then this is worth a try.

I will admit, I do get the green herbal-ness of sage present and some sour grapefruit, but only in the opening and only when you bury your face in the scent. In the air, it smells like a softer, mass-appealing take on Eros, similar to the new EdP version of the Versace.

If you do not own anything else like this, then it is a solid recommendation, especially at current prices. Projection is decent and longevity is better than I expected, pushing 8 hours on clothes for me.
