Goes on very clearly mysore sandalwood, which is not a favorite for me at all, but mellows down to a powdery vanilla food scent: Sweet orange, powdery vanilla, base of powdered sandal. Rather nice overall, but not super special. Simple, linear, powdery sandalwood sweet.

I love this juice. I mean loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove!!!! On me, this is the scent of my lofty dreams. At first its a strong burst of plum wine with some orange covered caramel. But the dry- down is fast and very pleasant. Once this divine scent settles on the skin its a fruity vanilla and sandlewood gourmand like no other. There is nothing offensive about this scent. Its so innocent and lovely. I adore it. I have been looking for a scent similar to Jeanne Arthes Private Room and this is it, however, I like Dalal better and I could not be any more happy. And the price is magnificent. 8.95 on Ebay. I can no longer use the roller balls because the oil turns rank on my skin so I now use the Al Rehab attar perfume versions instead of the roller balls and I love them! This scent is perfect. It is not heavy and does not project like a powerhouse, but that is fine by me I love skin scents they are so intimate. Get you some of this even if you do not like it the price is a bargain you can just give it away. It is delicious and yummy. I can not stop sniffing my wrist. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

People rave about Dalal. I bought it because people rave about it. Sadly, this was not a love match. Artificial caramel, orange over ambrettolide musk, very sweet and gourmand. It smells nice, it's just WAY too subtle. After a fleeting moment of intensity it disappears down to a skin scent. This would be wearable for me, if more intense. If you are one of those folks that finds their skin amplifies scent, this one is for you. If you love this but it's too weak, try Al Haramain Dhabab (Dalal but 50% stronger) or–if you can find it–Almas Dana (100% stronger).

A very sweet sandalwood and nothing more to speak off, if you like sandalwood you'll enjoy this oil very much

I like it.....i apparently like anything that has dates or figs in it...plays really well with my skin chemistry and i like the way it makes me feel. Also has a powdery note to it....maybe orange flowers or rose or iris? not familiar with notes or resins yet. Just like the way it makes me feel...all relaxed and dreamy. Nice!
