I bought this today, infact its why I joined this forum today. I am no expert and I cant smell individual things that have gone into this fragrance but what I can say it smells really nice.

I put this on my wrist as soon as I got in the car and liked the smell, then after 10 minutes I didnt think as much of it but then after around 20 minutes it settled into this amazing sweet smell and I cant stop sniffing it hahahahaha. I told you I was no expert but I know when something smells nice and this one certainly is a winner in my book.

I paid £10 for this, I have aramis, joop homme to name a few but I love the DB one better than all of them.

Not sure how long the smell will last but its been 3 hours upto now and its still going strong although not as strong as it was.

So there you go my first review of a edt that inspired me to join this forum and tell you my experience.

I really enjoy this one. I friend of mine was wearing a fragrance at a wedding recently and I kept getting these wonderful whiffs throughout the day. I actually thought it was something rather expensive. I was was a bit taken a back when he told me it was Beckham Instinct.

This is really manly. Nice vetiver running through things. Although not listed I also get a kind of boozy/tobacco note!!

If I was rating this based on it's price point I would have to give it a 10.

My overall rating is 8/10.

Totally worth it for an everyday fragrance based on it's price range.

Picked up a full bottle several years and haven't tried it more than a handful of times. Most people report citrus and vetiver -- on my skin it is straight and bitter tobacco with very few other notes.

My skin seems to have a habit of transforming perfumes that work for others so take this with a grain of salt.

Sillage seems average -- good for something so cheap.

A completely respectable take on the citrus and wood combo, in this case, vetiver being the dominant note. For similar money, I would prefer - just - Yardley's eponymous citrus and wood effort, but this isn't half bad. If you are a vetiver aficionado, you might splutter at the "palatable" approach to that note taken here; but I think there is room for a vetiver that everyone can get on with. For the price, why not?

P.S. - I don't know if they're still releasing this with the magnetic cap... but that was addictive.

This is a classic men's Vetiver fragrance, made modern with orange, mandarin and cardamom. I would love a more upmarket take on this formula, but for the price this isn't bad.

Great for mature gents with inexpensive but good taste. I have a soft spot for this fragrance because it has been my dad's signature for many years. Mum carefully scouted all the cheapies at the drugstore and she realised this would suit dad best.
