A lemon-bergamot clearly forms the opening blast, and soo a juniper berry is added and mixes in very pleasantly. The juniper had a slightly sweetish bent that is counterbalanced well by the tanginess of the citrus.

In the second half a soft-herbal patchouli mingles with a rather generic wood impression, and the opening notes still remain present, especially the juniper.

The forte of this Gold edition is its performance: moderate sillage, very good projection and an astounding fourteen hours if longevity on my skin - unbelievable - deserving a gold medal.

Nonetheless, there is a clearly synthetic-generic impression that this daytime spring creation cannot ever shake off. 2.75/5.
