Divine Vanille

Wrong move to call it Divine, as what’s on offer is a rather pedestrian spicy amber with a lingering whiff of baccy to it. It’s the kind of thing that reminds me of pulling out last year’s unwashed coat when the cooler weather begins or stuffy, airless rooms in winter.

Excellent vanilla fragrance that's very balanced with tonka bean and benzoin. Combined with a patchouli base, it falls into the warm, cozy, comfortable wearing fall-winter territory. It's a very smooth vanilla, but with nice touches of cinnamon and sage to keep it original enough for a common theme. Not the beast mode of Tobacco Vanille, but not a wimp either. Winter signature scent and full bottle worthy at Essential Parfums prices.

This feels like a softer Spicebomb with the vanilla and cinnamon being smooth and subtle. This is more of the floral/potpourri vanilla+cinnamon smell than the pure foodie vanilla+cinnamon. There is some tonka listed in the notes, which usually that combo gives me a vanilla cookie feel. The other thing that stands out is the benzoin.

Projection is light, should be good for close encounters.
