Avon (2005)

I don't have a 'trained' nose at all, and most of my fragrance collection was gifted to me or passed down from my mother / grandmother. My mum gave this to me not knowing what it was (old bottle with no label and no lid). My first impression was that it reminded me immediately of what a young girl would imagine a classic "ladies' perfume" should be - rosy, very powdery, and heavy in a grandmotherly way. Upon smelling it for the first time I immediately recognised it despite my mother not using it for over a decade (I was still small when it was released in 2005, and perhaps that contributes to my first impression). It is a very distinctive scent, and it can be overwhelming. Not my type of scent but I am glad I became reacquainted with it!
