Tobacco was to Dunhill what leather was to Hermès; cigarettes and lighters were a mainstay of the brand. (And, by coincidence, Alfred Dunhill was the son of a riding tack manufacturer.)
So it’s no surprise to find an approximation of baccy in this sweet spicy woods with a brown feel.
There’s nothing too refined about it, a soft brown leather with a mossy note; a bit like Bel Ami with grit.
But by the aggressive Spiky Wood values of today, London is a sap; James Stuart in a Wild West town full of bad guys; old fashioned standards in a topsy-turvy world.

It is a made with high quality ingredients and smells of smooth leather and tobacco. It is definitely not a casual fragrance.

The carnation note in this fragrance however makes it smell somewhat dated.
