This is just based on an initial impression, but it smells like the original non-reformulated batches of the Eros EDT. The only difference is that the mint seems to be less prominent and some of the abrasiveness from the EDT is toned down. I would definitely choose this over the current reformulated EDT.

On clothing, it lasts longer than the EDP. The EDP is known for being a bit more mature than the EDT. This one smells more rounded than the EDP, it just feels more complete. Maybe I will pick this up when it hits the discounters.

Overall, I enjoy this scent, mainly because it reminds me of my initial entry into fragrances. The nostalgic factor boosts my rating for this scent. For application, I use a dabber to apply a tiny bit onto my wrist or neck. A full spray close to my nose would be too overwhelming. I completely understand those that say Eros is an abrasive mess. I get around this issue by applying minimally.

The EDT received positive reactions from people, so I'm assuming this one will do just as well. If you have the original Eros EDT, this one will be redundant. If you have the EDP, this one is also going to be redundant unless you want an increase in performance by 3-4 hours. Wait until this one hits discounters so you can save $40-50CAD. However, if you do not have the EDT or EDP, I would recommend the Parfum.
