This is an excellent dirty fougère. The lavender is there all throughout. It has the base fougère smells and adds a late autumn forest on top. It has a wet underbrush scent that I really enjoy and my girlfriend describes as rotting leaves. Think of it as wearing Nobile 1942 Fougère Nobile on a walk through an old wood forest, it has not recently rained (no petrichor) yet the ground is still damp.
This fragrance does get compliments, even from my girlfriend. She says she hates the fragrance; however, after a hour or two of dry down, on multiple occasions she has commented that it smells good.

This is the only neutral rating I've ever given. Very strong with a beautiful amber note, but looking at the notes I think it's the mushroom note that I find off-putting. Worth a try.
