Gardenia Rattan

All of the Aerin scents seem to me to be less about a soliflore offering and more of a mixed floral with a dominant note--in this case gardenia. Gardenia is a notoriously difficult smell to reproduce and if you love it, which I do, then it is a sort of holy grail scent. This doesn't set out to be the next Jungle Gardenia. It is a really pretty "lifestyle" fragrance that tips its hat to gardenia, in this case, or lilac, jasmine, etc. in the other fragrances. High quality, as pretty as the ads, and--although it is by Lauder--just niche enough to feel special.
