Geisha O-Cha fragrance notes
- Japanese green tea, sweet orange, clary sage
Latest Reviews of Geisha O-Cha
O-Cha is a green tea fragrance with a strong sage presence that lends it a witchy feel distinctly at odds with its Japanese inspiration. It also features a waxy orange note that clouds the transparency of the tea, like the brightness of herbs muffled under a layer of plastic sheeting.
Later, it becomes clear that this strange layer of wax-plastic is actually white soap. Not finely-milled hotel soap, but the industrial-strength liquid soaps found in bathroom stops. There is an appeal to soapy tea scents (ask Bvlgari), and if you are looking for a perfume that will make you smell like you have just washed your hands very thoroughly, O-Cha will do the job. Herbal, robust, and squeaky clean, O-Cha starts off as green tea but ends up in Irish Spring territory. And although that is not my personal idea of Nirvana, it may be yours, in which case allow me to introduce you to O-Cha.
