The fruity opening (bergamot, mulberry and cranberry) is garnished with a restrainedly peppery undertone. There is a whiff of light suede here too. Nice.

The drydown is a floral potpourri, with jasmine and tuberose present at first, then complemented by a light Amgen rose leaf component, as well as peonies and whiffs of oleander. The white florals grow with time.

Then base sports a darker patchouli, which tilts the whole development into a darker side. It has a crisp edge, but not a screechy harshness à la Tom Ford's Purple Patchouli. The darker elements are supplied further by a dark musky impression, together with an artificial moss note. An earthy vetiver comes up towards the end.

I get moderate sillage, adequate projection and five hours of longevity on my skin.

This scent for cool spring evenings is quite agreeable, but rather synthetic and a tad too generic at times. 2.75/5.
