Sampled from a splash vial last night. Imagine after dinner at an exclusive venue, cigars and petit fours are laid out on the table and an older gentleman across the table is packing his briar pipe with cherry tobacco. This is the feel of Gourmand. Linear, but pleasantly so. Sweet but not sugary. Tobacco but not ashes. The gourmand element reminds me of pastries and is well paired with the tobacco while a hint of caramel lingers in background. Good projection, noticeable a couple paces away but not overwhelming. A skin scent by the seventh hour with hints still detectable the next morning.
