Eau de Parfum, Burberry (2022)

If 1 Million and Spicebomb had a love child it would be this lovely juice. Nice drier much woodier and denser version of each. It’s like the adult version or another flanker of 1M. Spicy. Don’t get any smokiness thankfully. The EDP lasts all day with decent but not overpowering projection.

Powdery, simple, and boring fake smelling woods. No thanks. Burberry makes great women’s scents. Why do I hate all of the men’s ones?

Smells very familiar in a $30-$40 designer way. Reminds me mostly of Azzaro The Most Wanted in the opening. It does have a subtle pine needle accord but it's mostly a soft, sweet, powdery, modern masculine. The heavy, powdery sweetness feels best for winter. The drydown is still a little powdery but it is very clean, like clean laundry.

Projection is solid and I get longevity into the next day on clothes.

Oh my God, it's got that heavy stinky incense ash note combined with sickly sweet amber. It's as if the design brief was "the stinkiest, cheapest, longest lasting mess you can make and put in a dark brown bottle". They want $180 and sell this in a 5oz bottle? Macy's keeps sending me samples of this and sales associates literally shout for me to come and try it, so the commissions must be as insane as the nose behind this. This was a scrubber and I trashed the sample. *cat barf gif*

Overall, a well-performing, very pleasant, sweet tobacco-type scent that reminds me of Herod by Parfums de Marley and 1 Million Privé by Paco Rabanne. Since I already have a bottle of the latter, as well as Oakcha Moira, CK Shock, and Alexandria Fragrances Arabian Horse, redundancy is a factor here, so I'm not compelled to pursue Hero EDP. Recommend.

I thought I sprayed Million by Paco Rabanne. Very sweet and so similar to Only The Brave by Diesel which is a fraction of the cost.
When these sweet nightclub scents came out most of us were raving over them. For me they're just a bit generic now. But a thumbs up as it's not a bad smell, just been done before
