I really enjoy juniper and juniper berry fragrances but juniper always seems to be in a supporting role. I have read all of the juniper threads here, but all of the suggestions are in the $200 plus range. I don't have that much dinero, though, so I would love to hear of your favorite juniper fragrances in the $70 and below range. Perry Ellis 360 (blue liquid) is pretty good and very inexpensive. Lalique Equuis, YSL L'Homme, Rasasi Egra and the discontinued Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green all have moderate amounts, but none really spotlight it. Would love to hear your thoughts, especially in the mid-designer/low niche space (Montale, Mancera, Guerlain, Lalique, etc.). Also, if anyone has experimented with juniper perfume bases and adding them to boost the juniper element of fragrances, I would also be very interested.

A cute cheapie (or at least used to be) is Bombay Sapphire Infusion, sadly marred imo by the addition of dihydromyrcenol (which I dislike intensely), but by far the most juniper-forward frag I've ever tried.

There are two I like that focus on it but both may take a little searching to meet the price target. First up Penhaligon Juniper Sling obviously juniper forward. Right now there's a sale and the 3.4 is 120.... over your limit. I think you could find the 1.7 under 85 if you keep your eye on the discounters. Second suggestion, Floris Jermyn Street - primary notes gin and vetiver. I see it's at Fnet for 90 today in 3.4 oz so 5 over. I suspect you could find it for 85 or less if you watch, I know I did, or just go for the 1.7 which would be very close to that range even at full retail..... kind of makes sense English frags would do juniper as the G&T is very much associated.....

Juniper Sling is the only one coming to mind, although I don't think it's a particularly good fragrance.

I just received the Pinaud Gin fragrance, which is nice in the way that regular Pinaud is a nice barbershop - a bit synthetic, a bit clumsy, but classic and charming. The Demeter is on order (Ebay's prices much better than Amazon). Bombay Sapphire fragrance is sadly discontinued. Will be looking into the others as well. Thank you to this knowledgeable, kind community!

Cerruti 1881 is the first that comes to mind - just a nice, bright aromatic fougere led by juniper, cypress, lavender, and pine. I’m sure the older juice is better, but the current stuff smells just fine and sells for very cheap. Great spring / summertime scent.

My top recommendation is just outside your budget, but it is very good and not crazily priced - Chanel Paris-Edimbourg. Juniper, cypress, lavender, vetiver, cedar, and white musk. Very aromatic, a bit peppery, feels somehow rainy. Wears light but that just means you can wear it anywhere, anytime. One of my favorites from Chanel.
