Chrome by Azzaro

I don't get it. I had a small sample a decade ago and tossed it after trying, thinking it had expired. Years later I gave Chrome another try purchasing a large bottle.
This is really awful on my skin. Not just generic smelling and headache inducing but there is nothing fresh about it. How is this Azzaro's best selling fragrance? Ugh!

Oscar de la Renta pour Lui by Oscar de la Renta

Great scent that I have come to appreciate more and more over the years. There is a formal element to this that keeps it a classic. A seducing incense that is beautifully constructed.

Club de Nuit for Men by Armaf

A 0ne Million clone that is just "okay."
Weirdly, this one lacks the longevity of other Armaf fragrances. I like it but a few people asked me if I had been smoking when I wear this so there must be a tobacco note in there although it isn't listed. Not my favorite Armaf but still decent.

Joop! Go by Joop!

Joop Go. It's not bad. Just very generic, sweet and unisex. For the younger crowd or the young at heart.

Jaguar (new) by Jaguar

Yes it is generic but it is not bad. Decent longevity. Similar to a deodorant or fabric softener. Nothing original but a decent, casual scent at an affordable price. I still prefer the original Jaguar in the dark green bottle over the many flankers Jaguar has out there.

Ventana by Armaf

Wow. Beautiful scent from Armaf. Ventana lacks the longevity of Sauvage but is a great example of a clone done correctly. I love most of the Armaf fragrances but the bottles (like this plastic-cased one) can be a bit tacky. However, the ingredients within are exceptional.

Capucci pour Homme by Roberto Capucci

Old School? Maybe. Truly a classic, masculine fragrance with ties to so many past scents. Capucci gets it right. This is wonderful. And very Italian.

Trussardi Uomo The Red by Trussardi

My first impression was underwhelming.
But I really am enjoying the dry down and this Trussardi Red is growing on me. The Tonka is most appealing and I keep getting whiffs here and there that make me like this. There's something very Italian at it's heart. Thumbs up!

Bentley for Men Intense by Bentley

A boozy, creamy masculine scent with wonderful longevity. It's rich and woody.
Reminds me just slightly of a more sophisticated and sweeter version of the original release of Kenneth Cole R.S.V.P. but Bentley Intense is the power house here. A beautiful fragrance.

Cool Water by Davidoff

Cool, crisp and fresh. Just the same as it was in 1988 upon it's release. Inoffensive and still draws complements after all these many years. Cool Water will always be a staple in my wardrobe. Thumbs up.

Aura by Armaf

Lots of notes going on here. The amber and vetiver stand out for me. Nothing too sweet going on. This has been compared to Invictus.
I have never sampled Invictus but I must say Aura is a quality frag with decent silage and great longevity. A bit heavy to my nose so best for the cooler months. Thumbs up!

Whatever It Takes George Clooney by Whatever it Takes

Not bad. Fresh and light. I get a mild pepper, grapefruit and vetiver. Not a groundbreaker but decent for a bargain fragrance. A nice casual scent.

Yacht Man Red by Myrurgia

Well, this was quite a nice surprise for a few bucks. Very similar to Dunhill Desire Red. Sweet but lighter than Desire Red. Actually, this one wears better on me. Wears close to the skin soon after a few sprays. I would put this for the younger class but I'll still wear it on occasion. Not bad at all.

Façonnable Eau de Toilette for Men / Façonnable by Façonnable

Sorry, but I don't understand the cool water comparisons. The orange sets Faconnable apart. This is fresh, clean and most enjoyable. Wonderful citrusy orange and mint done correctly. It's a beautiful scent in a great looking bottle. Never cheap smelling, but oh so fresh. I Love it!

Giorgio for Men by Giorgio Beverly Hills

An incredible bargain for such a quality fragrance. Honey, oakmoss and patchouli are present. Powerful sillage and great longevity. Beautiful bottle. Giorgio for men is a classic.

Tommy Bahama for Him by Tommy Bahama

A more refined version of Nautica Voyage. It's nice and refreshing being a fruity and tropical scent. I like most of the Bahama scents but they missed the boat by discontinuing the original Tommy Bahama for Men. Tommy Bahama for Him pales by comparison. It's deserving of a thumbs up but a bit too generic to be a favorite.

Halston 1-12 by Halston

The EA version still resembles the old formula but it is less sharp and more of a watered down version. I still find this wearable. I traded my vintage bottle of 1-12 bottle years back but no regrets as this EA bottle still holds memory of the original.

Jaïpur Homme Fraîcheur by Boucheron

Lighter version of the original Jaipur with wood notes added. So light it practically disappears within the first hour. It was nice while it lasted but a neutral rating due to it's fleeting appearance.

Porsche Design Essence by Porsche

Wow. I was quite surprised as I ordered this as a blind buy. Berries and Juniper fading into a light pepper.
Nothing remarkable, but I find it refreshing. I find this a bit more of a casual scent while the intense version (which I prefer) is more formal.

Mauboussin pour Homme by Mauboussin

This is a unusual Lavender fragrance in a beautiful bottle.
The EDP is the way to go here. I own both the EDP and the EDT and the edt version has a stale quality that appears cloying to my nose. The EDP is pure class. A definite gentlemens scent that is best suited for the mature wearer.

Night Touch by Franck Olivier

If you were expecting another Bleu De Chanel clone, you are somewhat close. My personal take is that I like this better. Night Touch has better silage and appears with a more fruity composition. For me, this is more wearable than BDC. Purists may condemn my findings but I never cared for BDC and it actually feels synthetic compared to this Franck Olivier adaptation. Longevity is good as with most of Franck Oliviers scents. Truly a wonderful blind buy for me. Thumbs up!

Lalique pour Homme Equus by Lalique

Finally acquired a bottle of Lalique Equus and I am more than pleased. The juniper and violet leaves are nicely done but my favorite aspect of this wonderful fragrance is the dry down exhibiting the scent of cedar shavings. This is a memory invoking fragrance for me. Thumbs up!

The Dreamer by Versace

Nice bottle. The predominant Iris made this a bit feminine to my nose. Then mix the iris with the tobacco and it became very cloying. I wanted this to work but it just didn't with my chemistry. Still a neutral as I can understand this will work well for others especially if you like floral and tobacco notes.

Flight by Michael Jordan

As others have mentioned, I find this to be a decent clone of YSL L'Homme. Nothing objectional here.
Nothing cheap smelling here either. I get decent longevity and good sillage. Plastic pieces on the bottle are a bit tacky but if you can forgive the packaging you'll find a nice alternative to
YSL L'Homme at a reasonable cost.
