Animale Animale for Men by Animale Parfums

I love this! It's slightly powdery, sweet, vanillic and dark. Just the right amount of everything. To me, does not smell dated at all! To me, this is a close relative to Pure Havane, but not as strong. This brings me to my only criticism of this fragrance. I wish there was an EDP or beast mode formulation of this exact cologne, the way it is, just amped up.

Dhanal Oudh Nashwah by Rasasi

Brooks is going to kill me, but here goes! I was super excited about this fragrance. Looked around a bunch and finally landed one at a decent price. It arrived, stoked, YES! ....then I sprayed it.... Imagine you are going to have chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast but you screw up and toss a handful of chocolate chips into a worn out stainless frying pan which has been heating up at the 10th setting for around 20 minutes. The second the chips hit the pan, they melt, stick and your apartment is left with a sour, burnt chocolate smell for hours. That's what I got from this.

Let's add a twist! The person who is burning the chocolate chips happens to be a woman in her 90s, possibly related to dracula and she wears massive earrings with ruby red stones, maroon lipstick and dark eye shadow with a dark red or brown crushed velvet jacket to match.

Long story short, I sold it the same night. Realistically, it's a dark, deep, damp woody frgrance with hints of sweet, sour and peppers. This is definitely one of those funky-type woody fragrances. Not at all for me.

Red Tobacco by Mancera

One hell of an olfactory experience, to say the least! This is strong, powerful, warm, spicy, vanillic and is like your nose is hovering directly over a freshly cherried tobacco pipe. Go easy on the trigger! Definitely not for the warmer months as this already packs plenty of heat. It's a roaring fireplace in a bottle. One of my all-time favorites!

Cool Water by Davidoff

Very easy to wear! Clean, fresh, and aquatic. The bottle definitely matches the scent. A classic! I was lucky enough to come across a vendor who is selling brand new and sealed boxes of the original formula which comes across as more green and piney. Previously, I wore the updated Cool Water which is what we see being sold all over the place now.

Fragrances in general tend to die pretty quickly on me and this is no exception. Within an hour, I can't even smell it even if I sprayed it ten times on myself. That is my only complaint about this fragrance.

Other than that, it's totally safe. If I can't decide what to wear, this is usually what I'm grabbing.

Qaa'ed Al Shabaab by Lattafa

THIS IS A LEATHER BOMB! When I say that, I mean it smells as though they turned a high-end leather jacket into a liquid, squeezed it into this bottle and concentrated the scent even further. I love it! It's the most leathery of any of the 'leather' fragrances I have.

Amazing quality as always from Lattafa. It's very strong and lasts forever. I believe it's a spin off of Dunhill British Leather. Final summation, if you like leather, this will not disappoint you!

Fakhar Black by Lattafa

It's the smell you're hit with as soon as you walk into Macy's times a thousand, plus a bit of a headache if you are not careful.

I'm a huge fan of the middle eastern fragrances I have been discovering, but this one was a bit too generic. Definitely a crowd-pleaser as long as you're easy on the tigger. It's fresh, clean and a bit powdery. For the price, quantity, quality and presentation, you can't go wrong. However, it's nothing to write home about.

Ambre Pimente by Ajmal

Amazing quality fragrance. Spicy and citrusy from the get-go and slightly sweet but not over the top. One to two sprays of this and you will surely smell for most of the day. This was love at first sniff!

I originally ordered this off ebay as I saw there weren't many available, but I have since seen more pop up online. You cannot beat the price for what you are getting!
