Short answer: No.
Long answer: Hell, no!
Even longer answer:
We had been using vBulletin as our forum software for around 15 years, so I’m sure many of you were used to how it works, and are now faced with something new.
While vBulletin was the best-in-class forum software when we first began using it, that is no longer the case. The version we were using no longer received support or updates, which as time goes by becomes more of a security risk.
Xenforo, the software we are now using, is essentially the spiritual successor to the previous software — in fact, it was created by the same people who made the best version of vBulletin. I’m sure that in a few weeks it will feel like home again.
In the meantime, if there is something that you are not sure how to do, or can describe what it was that made the old forums better in your opinion, please let us know in this forum here. There may be something missed in the conversion process or something we can switch in the back end which may make all the difference.
