Blenheim Bouquet by Penhaligon's

My first review, I'll do my best.
Blenheim Bouquet opens with a real eye opener of glorious fresh and natural smelling lemon/lime that dissipates over the course of the first hour. It leaves behind a soft lavender musk. I can't pick out the pepper note, Seems to last 6-8 hours and has a discreet projection and sillage, remaining quite close to the skin.

To me, it has a very "Victorian" feel about it. I can imagine a few sprays of this before pistols at dawn on a misty Hampstead Heath, or perhaps before stalking around in the night smog of Whitechapel during a busy night of serial killing. In both cases I see a requirement for a top hat, frock coat, frilly shirt, cravat and kid gloves. Instead, I'm wearing it in an empty office in front of an array of screens and the contrast is a little jarring. I might have to confine this one to weekends or WFH days.

I picked this up on offer for £100 in an airport duty free, having sampled it a few times and it feels pretty well priced at that level in my limited experience. When this one is gone I'll replace if I can get it at that price.
