Happening right now in Boom, Belgium is Tomorrowland – a massive festival of electronic dance music, and this year, the sounds are accompanied by a signature scent, as the festival launches its own perfume, Elixir of Life.
The festival say,
“Having seen the light of day back in 2016 when Tomorrowland introduced the legendary tale of the Elixir of Life for the first time as a festival theme, the Tomorrowland fragrance has been at the very essence of Tomorrowland’s DNA ever since.
Over the past years, the signature Tomorrowland scent became instantly recognizable once entering the festival grounds. After many years of crafting the unique scent until reaching the end result last year, the overall olfactory experience and concept has now been expanded, perfectly matching the Elixir of Life theme and setting the stage for a mesmerizing perfume bottle design, as well as its very own stage at the festival – truly capturing the essence and atmosphere of Elixir.
Inspired by unique natural scenery, beautiful green lawns, and the most powerful flowers, it’s a captivating natural fragrance that transports you to a serene and magical world, reminiscent of the enchanting atmosphere found in Tomorrowland – all melting and combining into a subtle whole.”
The Tomorrowland fragrance opens with notes of Pear, Cassis, and the aroma of Fresh green grass. These initial scents “create a lively and vibrant atmosphere, setting the stage for a captivating olfactory experience.”
The Heart Notes are inspired by the essence of nature, and include crumpled green leaves, Gardenia and Lily of the valley.
Finally, the Base Notes feature Moss, which “adds an earthy, green quality, evoking the feeling of walking through a lush forest”, and Musk, which “lends a warm and sensual touch, creating a smooth and comforting foundation for the overall scent.”
Elixir of Life is available now at the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium. If you’re not there, you might have to wait and see if it becomes available for sale on their website.
