It was only a matter of time before One Direction released their very own celebrity fragrance, and now they have, with Our Moment. Band member Liam Payne explained at the launch at London’s ‘Gherkin’ that the move was prompted when ‘a fan started an online petition for us to launch a fragrance’.
The scent is described as ‘sparkling, juicy and feminine’ and contains top notes of pink grapefruit, wild berries and redcurrants, heart notes of fresh freesia, jasmine petals and frangipani, on a base of creamy musk, sheer woods and white patchouli, all of which ‘leave an enticing and playful scent on the skin’. Harry Styles famously tweeted last month that it ‘smells like a summer’s day…’The bottle, which ‘adds a touch of sophistication to any occasion’ is decorated with a pink mesh flower, whilst the box features head shots of the band – and will almost certainly be worth a fortune at some point in the future. ‘This is like a complicated piece of art… a lot of love went into this,’ commented Liam.Here’s a short film from the One Direction Channel for all you fans out there.
