Molton Brown’s latest fragrance is Sunlit Clementine & Vetiver, which they describe as “a new citrus-woody creation with universal appeal.”
The fragrance has been created by perfumer, Julie Massé, and is “Inspired by the natural joy that clementines evoke”
Massé says, “Clementine to me is sunshine all year long. I love its fizzy, zesty, green and bitter notes which have a complexity not found in other citrus fruits. It’s an instant injection of optimistic energy and warmth, inspiring me to connect with nature and reclaim a sense of peace.”
Molton Brown have taken steps to ensure that the ingredients are as sustainable as possible, “The mandarin and lime essential oils in this fragrance are sustainably sourced by-products of the juice industry. Our Bourbon vetiver comes from Madagascar through a more conscious value chain, from cultivation to final extract. Local farmers are trained to harvest vetiver in a mindful way and their families are given more access to food, education and medical treatment.”
Notes include clementine, juicy mandarin and lime in the head; fig leaves, roasted hazelnut in the heart; and a dry down of moss and Bourbon vetiver – enriched further as a signature note in the Eau de Parfum to bring smoky depth while drawing out leathery-suede accents.
The new fragrance is available from 17th April from Molton Brown stores and online from their website. Available as Eau de Parfum 100ml and 7.5ml, Eau de Toilette 100ml, Bath & Shower Gel 300ml, and Body Lotion 300ml.
