Néroli Plein Sud is the latest addition to Guerlain‘s L’Art et La Matière collection. Like classic Guerlain fragrance, Vol de Nuit, this scent was also inspired by work by Antoine de Saint Exupéry – this time, the writer’s first novel, Courrier sud. Perfumer, Delphine Jelk says, “If Néroli Plein Sud were a book, it would be a travel diary by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.”
Flying south, the Guerlain Perfumers found a historic terroir of orange trees, once soared over by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. In Khemisset, Morocco, they discovered a uniquely potent orange blossom drenched in sunlight and shaped by the winds of the Atlas Mountains. Organically harvested and hand-picked at dawn, the flower is steam-distilled on site to obtain a floral, bright, vivid neroli essence. The essence of Néroli Plein Sud.
As well as Neroli, the fragrance also contains notes of turmeric, cinnamon, vetiver and sandalwood.
Néroli Plein Sud is available now at Guerlain boutiques and guerlain.com
