Alternatives to Guerlain's Bois d'Armenie

Years ago, I scored a (vintage?) bottle of Guerlain Bois d'Armenie. It was gorgeous... but I sold it because, though I loved the scent, it was too "feminine"/sweet on me-- more like something I wanted to smell than smell like, I suppose. But I do love benzoin and those thick-soft-earthy kind of scents-- as long as they're subtle, not overpowering-- so: any recommendations for a slightly quieter and/or more "masc" alternative to Bois d'Armenie? I did like Indochine but even that I wanted to end slightly drier than it ultimately did in the drydown. I also like Myrrhe Ardente, which is about as "sweet" (for lack of a better description) as I think smells good on me, and only in cooler weather. Thanks!

Bois d’Argent is definitely the closest I have smelled. Both were created by the same perfumer, Annick Menardo.
Azzaro Visit is kinda sorta in the same wheelhouse, also made by Annick Menardo IIRC

You may also like YSL Caftan. Not exactly similar, but its incense & benzoin and scratches a similar itch as Bois d’Argent

Discontinued now, but if you can find a bottle at a reasonable price, Lui by Guerlain may be worth a try.
Another one worth considering, is Benjoin Boheme by Diptyque.

I recall Kurdjian's cologne pour le soir being benzoin rich and rather smooth. Not sure it's still available.

Lui is probably the closest. It's less sweet and more spicy (the cloves) than Bois d'Arménie, but still has some sweetness. Bois d'Argent I find too sweet and only just unisex, if that's a concern.

Thank you all for these great suggestions, which I am only just seeing. Lui, Bois d’Argent, Cologne Pour Le Soir, and Benjoin Boheme all sound terrific— I hope to track them down for a sniff soon.

Also, not to derail my own thread haha, but I’m always on a sandalwood kick so if there’s a resinous one with some creamy sandalwood in there, I welcome any suggestions— daydreaming of something like a slightly deeper more resinous Egoiste…

I dropped into a new Guerlain pop-up near my office on the weekend and Bois d'Armenie was sitting there along with the other Art de Matieres in those cheap looking Tom Ford bottles. Got a sample - enough for yesterday and today and it seems pretty much the same - I compared it with my own Bd'A from a few years back . . .

I saw Cologne Pour le Soir mentioned above - how I wish I had bought a bottle back then! I did grab the Absolue Pour le Soir, which is a pretty funky and glad I did!
