How different is the new version of Bois d'Armenie when compared to the old one? Has anybody tried the new one?
The old one was credited to Annick Menardo and this new one to Thierry Wasser so it is a new version. But how different?

I know and love the old one but never had a bottle. Now that I want to get one they change it. But if it is like the old one than it should be okay

I've actually compared the current to the very first formulation of Bois d'Armenie side by side. They're quite similar in feeling.

The original is more powdery/makeuppy. The current is smoother, with a slight liqueur vibe. But they're not worlds apart from one another. I marginally prefer the newer one.

Tried it twice over the last couple of days - got a decent sample from Guerlain. I like it! I still have half a bottle of the original and I'll buy this one as a back-up for sure. I noticed L Turin mentioned Bd'A in his blog on the weekend, saying it was the only decent one in L'Art de Matiere series - hmmm, Myrhe & Delirés and Tonka Imperiale both still work just fine for me, Luca! And the short lived Songe d'un Bois d'Eté was an absolute stunner. :)
