In a recent thread about swapping, moderator Foxbins stated on Feb 1st 2024:
When I searched the site for published policy on swapping, all I found was this, in the "FAQ" section:
...which makes it sound as though the Marketplace is still active.
We definitely need a policy on swaps and sales that is prominently displayed, preferably in the admin links that appear at the bottom of every page.
And while we're at it, we could really use a page under "staff" or "contact us" that lists just who the moderators are and how to contact them.
As it stands now, public sample passes are fine, but sales, swaps, and sample exchanges between two people should take place via DM or off-site. Clarification of the rules regarding public "In Search Of," Sales, and Swap posts is in the works, I think. A person can still offer to send a sample to another person in an established thread, but not start a dedicated thread offering samples, sales, or swaps.
