Intimate, spicy floral scent with carnation, incense and hints of powdery violet and orris. I don't distinctly smell anise or tarragon, but I'm sure they make the mix richer. Neroli lends to the floral character. It's like an artfully-blended flower shop bouquet, the blooms chosen only for their scent.

Unlike Sugandaraja, I don't get cool, or herbal. There's a relaxing quality to this; the deep blue indigo is the perfect color to describe this rich, dark, velvet blend.

Soft, delicately herbal and powdery in a cool, reserved way. The only note I can consciously pick out is anise, but it in no way dominates the blend. The sillage is quiet and the longevity is medium. This is a rather shy fragrance, but charming and unique all the same.

I used to consider anise and terragon "off limits" notes, this perfume has changed my mind. I try to test perfumes "blind," not knowing their ingredients, which is good because I would have imposed my prejudices here. Instead, I wondered, "What is that camphorous, slightly sweet, almost woody aroma?" It developed nicely on my skin, never becoming candylike, but expanding and unfolding in a serious, restrained manner. I was surprised when I read the list of notes. Cedar is a brilliant choice as a base note here. Surprising, lovely, airy, unique, impressive.

Gorgeous and so unusual! Violets, orris, anise. Evokes a dusky purple for me ... soft, cool powdery plushness in the heart notes. Very lovely subtle base, slightly spicy.
